- 1993 - Panasonic releases the FZ-1 REAL 3DO Interactive Multiplayer game system in the US. It features 32-bit processor, 3 MB RAM, 16-million colors, double speed CD-ROM drive, up to eight controllers, audio CD playback. Price is US$699.95, including the game Crash 'n Burn by Crystal Dynamics. The systems are manufactured by Matsushita in Japan.
