  • 1983 - In the 1:00 AM sign-off slot of KMVT television station in Twin Falls, Idaho, Apple Computer runs its 1984 Macintosh ad, solely to make the ad eligible for awards during 1984. Cost of running the ad: $10.
  • 1999 - Microsoft releases Windows 2000 to computer manufacturers.
