- 2009 - A Federal judge in Arizona rules that MDY Industries is guilty of copyright infringement for its Glider software which plays Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft online game unattended.

- 1988 - Hideyuki Nakajima of Atari Games/Tengen signs an agreement with Nintendo, to become a licensed producer of game cartridges for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
- 2007 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the USA. A man asks a boy wearing an electronic glove "What's the PowerGlove for?", a reference to the Mattel PowerGlove controller for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
- 2022 - Nintendo releases the Pokémon Legends: Arceus game for the Nintendo Switch.
