- 1983 - John Sculley holds his first executive staff meeting at Apple Computer.
- 1987 - The April 13 issue of Business Week magazine features Bill Gates on the cover.
- 2001 - Apple Computer stops sales of the Power Mac G4 667 computer.
- 2004 - Microsoft and EEye Digital Security announce a security vulnerability in the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASRV.DLL file) of Windows. Microsoft releases a patch to resolve the problem.
- 2005 - PalmOne releases the Tungsten E2 handheld computer. It features Bluetooth wireless connection, 32 MB nonvolatile flash memory, 200 MHz Intel XScale processor, and color screen. Price is US$249.
- 2010 - Apple updates its line of high-end MacBook Pro laptops with faster Intel processors, better Nvidia graphics chips and longer battery life (8-10 hours). Prices start at $1199 for the 13-inch model.
Video Game history:
- 1983 - Atari signs a long-term agreement with Williams Electronics, giving Atari first refusal rights to Williams' coin-operated games for home video games and computer games.
- 1992 - Nintendo releases The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past video game for the Super NES in the US.
- 2003 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. An Asteroids arcade video game appears.
- 2010 - Ubisoft releases the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction video game for the Xbox 360 in the US.
