Personal Computer history:

  • 1993 - John Sculley steps down as CEO of Apple Computer, remaining as chairman.
  • 1993 - The Apple Computer board of directors appoints Michael Spindler as CEO of the company.
  • 2001 - Palm announces the Jordan m100 and Jordan m500 handheld computers. The units are the result of a US$3.5 million three-year deal with basketball star Michael Jordan. The hardware is the same as regular Palm handhelds, except for the name "Jordan" on the case. Special software related to Jordan, basketball, and games are included. List prices are US$159 and US$425 respectively.
  • 2004 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Fairly Oddparents TV show in the US. A laptop computer is used to run a "Virtual Camper Program", with virtual reality goggles.
Video Game history:

  • 2003 - Capcom releases the Resident Evil Dead Aim video game for the PlayStation 2 in the US.
