- 2000 - Intel launches 633, 667, and 700 MHz Celeron processors. Prices are US$138, US$170, US$192 in 1000-unit quantities.
- 2000 - Advanced Micro Devices unveils 550 and 533 MHz K6-2+ processors for notebook computers. Prices are US$85 and US$99 in 1000-unit quantities.

- 2007 - Nintendo releases the Pokémon Battle Revolution video game for the Nintendo Wii in the USA.
- 2007 - Eidos Interactive releases the Tomb Raider: Anniversary video game for the PlayStation Portable in the US.
- 2007 - Square Enix releases the Final Fantasy: Anniversary Edition video game for the PlayStation Portable in the US.
