Personal Computer history:

  • 1982 - In Tokyo, Japan, Fujitsu announces the development of 100-nanosecond 64 kbit DRAM chips that are 15 percent smaller than current 64 kbit chips.
Video Game history:

  • 1985 - Judge Sweet orders Universal Studios to pay Nintendo of America $1.8 million in failed copyright infringement lawsuit over Donkey Kong.
  • 1993 - A Federal court jury in San Francisco decides Atari Games infringed a Nintendo patent for the security system in the Nintendo Entertainment System. Atari Games announces it will appeal the decision.
  • 2008 - Namco Bandai releases the Soulcalibur IV video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the USA.
