- 2006 - Namco Bandai releases The Fast and the Furious video game for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Xbox in the US.
- 2006 - Square Enix releases the Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria video game for the PlayStation 2 in the USA.
- 2006 - Ubisoft releases the Splinter Cell: Double Agent video game for the PlayStation 2 in the US.
- 2008 - THQ releases the de Blob video game for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS in the US.
- 2010 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A bus driver plays a handheld video game while driving, looking like the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
