  • 1927 - Film Booking Offices releases the Alice Comedy film Alice the Golf Bug to theaters.
  • 1932 - The first "Mickey Mouse" color comic page is published in Sunday editions of newspapers. The page is written, drawn, and inked by Earl Duvall.
  • 1932 - The first "Silly Symphonies" color comic page is published in Sunday editions of newspapers. The edition is titled "Bucky Bug", drawn by Earl Duvall.
  • 1941 - The Donald Duck film Timber is released to theaters.
  • 1965 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, entitled Ida the Offbeat Eagle.
  • 1971 - The NBC TV network airs The Wonderful World of Disney show, entitled Three Without Fear: In the Land of the Desert Whales.
  • 1988 - The Disney Channel debuts the animated TV show The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
  • 1992 - Disney releases the Hollywood Pictures live-action feature film The Hand That Rocks the Cradle to theatres.
  • 1997 - Buena Vista Pictures generally releases the Hollywood Pictures live-action feature film Evita to theaters in the US. The film cost US$65 million to produce.
  • 2000 - Following the merger of America Online and Time Warner, Disney tells Time Warner it wants to renegotiate its cable network distribution deal for ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN, etc. Time Warner asks for an eight month extension of the existing agreement, or it will cease transmitting ABC at the end of April.
  • 2000 - Buena Vista Television premieres The Ainsley Harriott Show.
  • 2005 - Disney Mobile launches in the US a group of ring tones featuring voices of cartoon characters from Disney and Pixar animators, for US$2.50 per tone. Also available are muical ring tones from Disney films, and mobile screensavers.
  • 2010 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the USA. A person's long last name ends with "Mulan Pocahontas", names of two Disney films.
  • 2016 - The musical show Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular closes at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure, after nearly 14,000 performances.
  • 2016 - The Big Thunder Ranch area at Disneyland closes.
