  • 1934 - The Silly Symphony film The Goddess of Spring is released to theaters.
  • 1950 - The Goofy film Hold that Pose is released.
  • 1954 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, featuring the film Alice in Wonderland.
  • 1963 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring The Waltz King, part one.
  • 1965 - Walt Disney appears on The Jack Benny Hour TV show.
  • 1974 - The NBC TV network airs The Wonderful World of Disney show, entitled Adventure in Satan's Canyon.
  • 1977 - Buena Vista premieres the animated and live-action feature film Pete's Dragon in selected theaters.
  • 1978 - Mickey Mouse is given a gold star on Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame, the first cartoon character to be so honored.
  • 1986 - Grenada issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters at Christmas.

  • 1991 - The stage show Hollywood's Pretty Woman ends.
  • 1992 - The Rainbow Fruit Market restaurant opens in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1992 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US.
    • A short film is shown, a black and white cartoon titled Steamboat Itchy, a parody of Disney's Steamboat Willie.
    • In a scene forty years in the future, a movie theater is playing "Classics of Animation" with Beauty and the Beast as second billing.

  • 1993 - Disney releases the laserdisc Disney's The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventures Volume 2 - In Harmony / Ariel's Gift for US$30. It includes In Harmony, Charmed, Red, Trident True.
  • 1993 - Disney releases the Disney Sing Along Songs film compilation The Twelve Days of Christmas / Very Merry Christmas Songs on laserdisc in the US, for US$25.
  • 1996 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A child reads a pamphlet "one of these giant redwood trees can provide enough sawdust to cover an entire day's worth of vomit at Disneyland".
  • 2006 - Disney releases the film The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause to theaters in the USA.
  • 2009 - Disney world premieres the film Disney's A Christmas Carol in London, England.
