  • 1927 - Universal Pictures releases the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film The Ocean Hop to theaters.
  • 1936 - The Mickey Mouse film Mother Pluto is released to theaters. Pluto stars, without Mickey.
  • 1941 - The Goofy film The Art of Skiing is released to theaters.
  • 1947 - The Pluto film Mail Dog is released.
  • 1956 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, entitled Along the Oregon Trail. This is a behind the scenes look at the filming of the film Westward Ho the Wagons.
  • 1958 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring the second "Tales of Texas John Slaughter" episode, Ambush at Laredo.
  • 1962 - Disney world premieres the film In Search of the Castaways in theaters in London, England.
  • 1965 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring The Three Lives of Thomasina, part one.
  • 1981 - The CBS TV network airs the Walt Disney show, entitled A Disney Storybook part one. It features the films Mickey and the Beanstalk, Dumbo, and Working for Peanuts.
  • 1983 - Anguilla issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters.
  • 1984 - The Disney Channel begins airing the series Still the Beaver. The first episode is entitled Growing Pains.
  • 1986 - Belize issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters.
  • 1997 - The New Amsterdam theater box office sets a record by selling US$2.5 million of advance tickets to The Lion King.
  • 1998 - The computer-animated feature film A Bug's Life premieres in El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.
  • 1998 - The Soundstage Restaurant at the Disney-MGM Studios closes.
  • 2000 - Buena Vista Home Entertainment releases the film Fantasia/2000 on videocassette and DVD in the US.
  • 2000 - Disney releases the film Fantasia on DVD.
  • 2000 - Disney releases The Fantasia Anthology on DVD, including the films Fantasia and Fantasia/2000.
