  • 1925 - M.J. Winkler Productions releases the Alice Comedy film Alice Rattled by Rats to theaters.
  • 1926 - Film Booking Offices releases the Alice Comedy film Alice Helps the Romance to theaters.
  • 1926 - Disney ships the 43rd Alice Comedy film, Alice's Rodeo, to Winkler Pictures.
  • 1928 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film The Barn Dance. Minnie Mouse also appears.
  • 1929 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film Jungle Rhythm.
  • 1932 - The Disney Art Class first meets, with Don Graham of the Chouinard School of Art lecturing at the Disney Studios.
  • 1964 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring Ben and Me, and Peter and the Wolf.
  • 1965 - At the Cherry Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida, Walt Disney, Roy Disney, and Florida Governor Hayden Burns make the first public announcement of plans to build a new Disney theme park near Orlando.
  • 1985 - The Chocolate Collection shop opens in New Orleans Square in Disneyland.
  • 1985 - Bhutan issues twelve postage stamps depicting various Disney characters in the Brothers Grimm story Rapunzel.
  • 1986 - The Disney Channel airs the Disney Channel Premiere Film Down the Long Hills.
  • 1986 - The ABC TV network airs the last episode of The Ellen Burstyn Show for the season.
  • 1989 - Buena Vista premieres the animated film The Little Mermaid in Los Angeles, California, and New York City.
  • 1990 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show. The episode title "Dead Putting Society" is a play on the title of the Disney film Dead Poets Society.
  • 1991 - Disney releases the film The Rescuers Down Under on videocassette, and laserdisc for US$30-40.
  • 1991 - The animated feature film Beauty and the Beast opens at the El Capitan theater in Los Angeles, and the Cinema One theater in New York City.
  • 1992 - The World According to Goofy parade at Disneyland makes its last run.
  • 1993 - The Garden Grill Restaurant opens in The Land in Epcot at Walt Disney World.
  • 1998 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A character has a hallucination, with a pink elephant appearing similar to the ones in the film Dumbo.
  • 2006 - The ABC TV network premieres the Day Break TV show.
  • 2009 - (to March 14, 2010) The New Orleans Museum of Art in Louisiana hosts the Dreams Come True: Art of the Classic Fairy Tales From the Walt Disney Studio exhibit.
