  • 1928 - Walt Disney copyrights the film Steamboat Willie.
  • 1929 - King Features writes to Walt Disney, acknowledging the receipt of six Mickey Mouse comic strip samples, and asking for six more to show the publisher, William Randolph Hearst.
  • 1952 - The Mickey Mouse film Pluto's Christmas Tree is released. Pluto, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Chip, and Dale also appear.
  • 1956 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, entitled At Home with Donald Duck. It is a compilation of cartoons.
  • 1958 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring the film The Boston Tea Party, which is the first half of the film Johnny Tremain.
  • 1965 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring The Three Lives of Thomasina, part two.
  • 1975 - Buena Vista releases the film Dr. Syn, Alias The Scarecrow to theaters in the US.
  • 1978 - (to January 30) In Washington, D.C., the Library of Congress holds an exhibition "Building a Better Mouse", including over 120 items from their collection.
  • 1981 - The CBS TV network airs the Walt Disney show, entitled A Disney Storybook part two.
  • 1984 - The Disney Channel airs the second episode of the series Still the Beaver, entitled Thanksgiving Day.
  • 1986 - The Star Traders shop opens in Tomorrowland at Disneyland.
  • 1990 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Three Men and a Little Lady to theaters. The film cost US$30 million to make.
  • 1990 - The CBS TV network airs the TV show The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson.
  • 1993 - The NBC TV network airs the special Disney's Countdown to Kid's Day.
  • 1994 - The 3D film Honey, I Shrunk the Audience premieres in Journey into Imagination in Future World in Epcot at Walt Disney World.
  • 1994 - The Circle-Vision film From Time to Time opens in the Transportarium in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
  • 1994 - The Timekeeper attraction opens in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
  • 1997 - The ABC TV network airs the special "Absent-Minded Inventors and the Search for Flubber".
  • 2001 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Out Cold to theaters in the USA.
  • 2007 - The What's Next Cafè opens at Disney's Wide World of Sports resort at Walt Disney World.
  • 2008 - Disney releases the 3D animated film Bolt in theaters in the USA and Canada.
  • 2013 - Touchstone releases the DreamWorks film Delivery Man to theaters in Russia.
