  • 1927 - Disney ships the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film Bright Lights to Winkler Productions.
  • 1937 - The Mickey Mouse film Pluto's Quin-Puplets is released. Pluto stars, without Mickey Mouse. Fifi also appears.
  • 1943 - The Donald Duck film Home Defense is released to theaters.
  • 1958 - Disney releases the animated short film The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to theaters. It was originally part of the feature film Ichabod and Mr. Toad.
  • 1961 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, entitled Holiday for Henpecked Husbands, with Goofy.
  • 1972 - The NBC TV network airs The Wonderful World of Disney show, featuring Chandar, the Black Leopard of Ceylon, part one.
  • 1974 - The NBC TV network airs Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.
  • 1975 - The NBC TV network airs NBC All-Disney Night at the Movies featuring The Moon Spinners and Prowlers of the Everglades.
  • 1984 - Caicos Islands issues six postage stamps with various Disney characters in Christmas scenes.
  • 1984 - Grenada Grenadines issues six postage stamps depicting scenes from various Donald Duck films.
  • 1985 - The Disney Channel ceases airing the Anka TV show.
  • 1987 - Tokyo Disneyland welcomes its 50-millionth guest.
  • 1989 - The NBC TV network airs The Magical World of Disney show, featuring Parent Trap Hawaiian Honeymoon, part two.
  • 1992 - The film Beauty and the Beast is released to theaters in Germany and the Netherlands.
  • 1997 - Buena Vista Pictures releases the Walt Disney Pictures live-action feature film Flubber to theaters in the USA. The film is a remake of the 1961 film The Absent Minded Professor.
  • 1999 - McDonald's restaurants begin a promotion campaign for the Toy Story 2 film, running until December 23.
  • 2009 - In New York City, the 83rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place. Included is the debut of the "Sailor Mickey Balloon", about 61 feet high, filled with 14,000 cubic feet of helium. The balloon promotes the Disney Cruise Line.
