  • 1925 - M.J. Winkler Productions releases the Alice Comedy film Alice the Toreador to theaters.
  • 1926 - M.J. Winkler Productions releases the Alice Comedy film Alice's Balloon Race to theaters.
  • 1943 - The special cartoon film Education For Death is released to theaters.
  • 1943 - Disney delivers the film The Winged Scourge to the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs. It stars the seven dwarfs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
  • 1954 - Disney releases the Donald Duck film Spare the Rod to theaters. Huey, Dewey, and Louie also appear.
  • 1956 - The Phantom Boats attraction in Disneyland closes (temporarily).
  • 1958 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, entitled Donald's Weekend.
  • 1960 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring the fifth "The Swamp Fox" episode, Redcoat Strategy.
  • 1961 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring the eighth "The Swamp Fox" episode, Horses for Greene.
  • 1967 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, featuring Willie and the Yank: The Mosby Raiders, part two.
  • 1970 - The Legacy of Walt Disney display opens on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland.
  • 1975 - The Space Mountain attraction opens in the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Colonel James Irwin, pilot of Apollo 15 lunar module, is first official rider of Space Mountain.
  • 1975 - The Carousel of Progress attraction opens in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
  • 1986 - The Living Seas attraction opens in Future World in EPCOT Center, at Walt Disney World. It includes a 5.7 million gallon aquarium, Seabase Alpha area, films An Animated Atlas of the World, The Seas, Sea Watch, and Suited for the Sea, and Coral Reef Restaurant.
  • 1988 - Disney generally releases the live-action feature film Good Morning, Vietnam to theaters. The film cost US$14 million to make.
  • 1989 - The NBC TV network airs The Magical World of Disney show, featuring Wild Jack, part one.
  • 1990 - Michael Eisner announces plans to expand the Walt Disney World theme parks, and to add a fourth park during the 1990s. EPCOT Center is to add a pavilion from the Soviet Union, and 16 new attractions are planned for the Disney-MGM Studios.
  • 1990 - NBC TV airs the series pilot Blue Bayou.
  • 1993 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures / Paramount Pictures live-action feature film Alive in the US.
  • 1997 - The show Walt Disney's World on Ice - The Spirit of Pocahontas opens in New York, running until February 2.
  • 1999 - The first unit of Disney's All-Star Movies Resort opens in Walt Disney World.
  • 2002 - Disney re-releases the film Tron, on DVD and videocassette in the US.
  • 2004 - Disney board member George Mitchell encourages Comcast to make a letter bid for Disney.
