- 1961 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, entitled Battle for Survival.
- 1978 - The University of Southern California chapter of the Delta Kappa Alpha National Honorary Cinema Fraternity recognizes the "Nine Old Men" (Disney animators) with the "Pioneer in Film" award.

- episode title is Two Dozen and One Greyhounds,
- a pair of dogs have a lot of puppies (25), and
- an evil character steals the puppies to make a coat of them.
- Two dogs go to a restaurant, eat spaghetti and meatballs at a table, and a common strand of spaghetti brings their noses together, like in Lady and the Tramp.
- Names of some dogs are names from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Sleepy, Dopey, Grumpy.
