  • 1930 - The first issue of the Official Bulletin of the Mickey Mouse Club is published.
  • 1932 - The Mickey Mouse film Barnyard Olympics is released. Pluto also appears.
  • 1938 - The Donald Duck film Donald's Nephews is released to theaters. Huey, Dewey, and Louie make their film debut.
  • 1962 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, entitled Disneyland After Dark. The show marks the network TV debut of the Osmond Brothers.
  • 1964 - Disney lawyer Robert Foster leaves New York bound for Florida, to begin land purchases for Disney. He uses the name Robert Price to keep his identity secret.
  • 1971 - The last of 337 concrete beams completes the 6-mile long monorail transportation system for Walt Disney World, and the first Martin-Marietta Mark IV Monorail train is lowered onto the beam.
  • 1973 - The Walt Disney Story attraction and film opens on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
  • 1975 - The Flight to the Moon attraction at Walt Disney World closes.
  • 1983 - Tokyo Disneyland opens in Urayasu, just outside Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Oriental Land Company under licence from Disney. It includes several themed areas: Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Westernland, and World Bazaar.
  • 1983 - The Diamond Horseshoe Revue show opens in Westernland in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The World Bazaar Confectionery shop opens in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The Adventureland Bazarr opens in Adventureland in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The #25 locomotive, the Rio Grande, begins operation at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The #28 locomotive, the Missouri, begins operation at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The #53 locomotive, the Colorado, begins operation at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The Adventureland area opens in Tokyo Disneyland. It includes the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, Jungle Cruise attraction, Enchanted Tiki Room attraction, Royal Street Veranda restaurant, Polynesian Terrace Restaurant, Western River Railroad attraction, Blue Bayou Restaurant, and Cafe Orleans restaurant.
  • 1983 - The Fantasyland area opens in Tokyo Disneyland. It includes Snow White's Adventures attraction, Pinocchio's Daring Journey attraction, Haunted Mansion attraction, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel attraction, Peter Pan's Flight attraction, Dumbo Flying Elephants attraction, It's a Small World attraction, Mickey Mouse Revue Audio-Animatronics musical attraction, Skyway to Tomorrowland attraction, Tinker Bell Toy Shop, Disneyana Shop, Troubadour Tavern restaurant, Captain Hook's Galley restaurant, and Four Corners Food Faire restaurant.
  • 1983 - The Tomorrowland area opens in Tokyo Disneyland. It includes the Starcade video arcade, Star Jets attraction, Skyway to Fantasyland attraction, Grand Circuit Raceway attraction, Meet the World attraction, Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant, 3-D film attraction The Eternal Sea, and Space Place FoodPort restaurant.
  • 1983 - The Westernland area opens in Tokyo Disneyland. It includes the Country Bear Theater attraction, Diamond Horseshoe Revue show, Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes attraction, Plaza Pavilion restaurant, Hungry Bear Restaurant, Tom Sawyer Island attraction, Tom Sawyer Island Rafts attraction, Westernland Shootin' Gallery attraction, Mile Long Bar restaurant, Mark Twain Riverboat, Lucky Nugget Cafe restaurant, Pecos Bill Cafe restaurant
  • 1983 - The World Bazaar area opens in Tokyo Disneyland. It includes the Camera Center shop, New Century Clock Shop, Emporium store, Storybook Store, Omnibus vehicle, Fire Truck vehicle, Horseless Carriages vehicle, Center Street Coffeehouse restaurant, and Main Street Cinema attraction.   • 1983 - The Circle-Vision film Magic Carpet 'Round The World opens at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1983 - The Club 33 restaurant opens in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1984 - Caicos Islands issues five postage stamps with various Disney characters.
  • 1984 - Dominica issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters and Easter bunnies.
  • 1984 - The Gambia issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters painting Easter eggs.
  • 1988 - Buena Vista releases the Walt Disney Pictures live-action feature film Return to Snowy River, Part II, The Legend Continues to theaters in the US. The film is a sequel to The Man from Snowy River.
  • 1988 - The Disney Classics on Parade premieres at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1988 - The One Man's Dream show begins performances at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1990 - The TV special Celebrity Celebration Aboard the Queen Mary airs on KCAL in Los Angeles.
  • 1991 - The NBC TV network airs the Disney movie She Stood Alone.
  • 1991 - The Disney Party Gras Parade premieres in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1992 - Maldives issues five postage stamps depicting Disney characters in Chicago, Illinois.

  • 1993 - The Visionarium opens in Tokyo Disneyland.
