  • 1927 - The Paramount Theater in New York City premieres the Alice Comedy film Alice's Three Bad Eggs.
  • 1930 - The Mickey Mouse film Wild Waves is released to theaters.
  • 1952 - The Donald Duck film Let's Stick Together is released.
  • 1961 - Walt and Roy Disney pay off all existing loans.
  • 1984 - Saul Steinberg announces his intentions to increase his stake in Walt Disney Productions to 25 percent. In accordance with regulations, he can acquire up to 15 percent immediately, and then must wait 30 days before acquiring the rest, unless he seeks and is granted approval.
  • 1985 - The ABC TV network airs the last episode of the Wildside series.
  • 1994 - The NBC TV network airs the last episode of Disney's Someone Like Me show.
  • 1997 - Buena Vista Pictures releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Romy and Michele's High School Reunion to theaters in the USA.
  • 2000 - The Lion King stage musical opens at The Princess of Wales Theater in Toronto, Canada.
  • 2004 - The ABC TV network premieres the ABC Family Original Movie Brave New Girl.
  • 2004 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US.
    • The dress-up character resembling Eeyore from Walt Disney World is run-over by a car; the character's actor says "Everything happens to Eemore.".
    • A character in Miami tells an old man "If you take a woman [to Epcot], she will be yours.".

  • 2005 - The April 25 issue of Business Week magazine includes a picture of Hilary Duff in a "Mickey & Co." short, and a picture of Mickey Mouse in a anticle about portable music players.
  • 2009 - Disney premieres the film The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story at the San Francisco International Film Festival.
  • 2012 - Disney releases Marvel's The Avengers movie in Australia and France.
