- 1990 - The Mickey's Magical TV World show opens at Mickey's Starland in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
- 1991 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Oscar to theatres.
- 1991 - The ABC TV network begins airing the series Dinosaurs.
- 1992 - The Beauty and the Beast show The Enchanted Book Shoppe gives its last performance at Plaza Garden in Disneyland.
- 2002 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Fairly Oddparents TV show in the US. One character says to another "Mr. President, you almost caused a nuclear war. What are you going to do next?" The reply is "I'm going to Escalatorland." This is a reference to Disney commercials where a sports figure says he is going to Disneyland.
- 2003 - Disney premieres the film The Lizzie McGuire Movie in Hollywood, California.
- 2005 - Disney Consumer Products announces a portable audio/video player available in different character-themed designs. The device can play DVDs, CDs and MP3s, and display digital photos. The 3.5-inch handheld model sells for US$129.99, and a larger 7-inch version sells for US$199.99.
- 2009 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the USA. A short scene mimics the 1960s Disney TV shows where Tinkerbell flies in front of the Disneyland castle.
- 2010 - Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic cruise ship makes its maiden call at the Valletta Waterfront, Malta.
