- 2005 - Disney Consumer Products announces a portable audio/video player available in different character-themed designs. The device can play DVDs, CDs and MP3s, and display digital photos. The 3.5-inch handheld model sells for US$129.99, and a larger 7-inch version sells for US$199.99.
- 2009 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the USA. A short scene mimics the 1960s Disney TV shows where Tinkerbell flies in front of the Disneyland castle.
- 2010 - Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic cruise ship makes its maiden call at the Valletta Waterfront, Malta.
