- 1928 - Walt Disney's first silent film featuring Mickey Mouse, Plane Crazy premieres as a sneak preview at a theatre on Sunset Boulevard, in Los Angeles, California. It cost US$1772.89 to make. Minnie Mouse also debuts.
- 1930 - The Mickey Mouse film The Cactus Kid is released. It stars Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Peg Leg Pete.
- 1935 - The third Mickey Mouse Magazine is first published, priced at 10 cents.
- 1937 - The Silly Symphony film Little Hiawatha is released to theaters.

- 2008 - The Walt Disney Pictures / Walden Media film The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is released to theaters in Chile, Indonesia, Russia, Korea, and the Ukraine.
