  • 1925 - M.J. Winkler Productions debuts the Alice Comedy film Alice's Egg Plant in New York City at the Rivoli Theater.
  • 1940 - The Donald Duck film Bill Posters is released to theaters. Goofy also appears.
  • 1941 - An anonymous memo at the Disney studios informs the 1200 employees that only qualified "artists" would be eligible for representation and continued job security.
  • 1962 - Buena Vista releases Disney's live-action feature film Bon Voyage to theaters. The film is based on the book by Marrijane and Joseph Hayes.
  • 1964 - The NBC TV network airs the Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color show, entitled Disneyland Goes to the World's Fair.
  • 1984 - The Disney board of directors votes its approval of the Arvida deal.
  • 1986 - The Circle-Vision film American Journeys opens in Tomorrowland at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1987 - The Mickey's Christmas Chalet shop in Disneyland closes.
  • 1991 - Disney's Port Orleans Resort hotel opens in Walt Disney World. It has 1008 guest rooms. It includes Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory food court, Jackson Square Gifts and Desires shop, and Bonfamille's Cafe restaurant.
  • 1991 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film What About Bob? to theatres.
  • 1997 - The Mike Fink Keel Boats ride at Disneyland closes.
  • 2004 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the US. A car wash place is called "When you Wash Upon a Car", a reference to the song "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Disney's Pinocchio film.
  • 2004 - The Artist's Palette restaurant opens at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World.
  • 2009 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the USA.
    • A house carried by balloons floats across the sky, a reference to the 2009 Disney/Pixar film Up.
    • A character says "I am afraid of xylophones. It's the music you hear when skeletons are dancing.", a reference to Disney's film The Skeleton Dance.

  • 2013 - The Archive Shop opens in Mystic Point in Hong Kong Disneyland.
