  • 1922 - Walt Disney incorporates Laugh-O-gram Films, using the remaining assets of Iwwerks-Disney Commercial Artists, and US$15,000 from local investors.
  • 1930 - Disney completes the Silly Symphony film Frolicking Fish.
  • 1931 - The Silly Symphony film The China Plate is released to theaters.
  • 1941 - Leaflets appear all over Hollywood denouncing Arthur Babbit, Herb Sorrell, and David Hilberman as communists. The authors are identified only as "Committee of 21".
  • 1982 - The syndicated TV show Computers are People, Too! first airs. It includes footage from the film Tron.
  • 1983 - Tokyo Disneyland welcomes its one-millionth guest.
  • 1983 - The syndicated TV special The Fairest of Them All airs.
  • 1986 - NBC TV airs the special Disneyland's Summer Vacation Party featuring Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld.
  • 1995 - The 100th episode of the Home Improvement TV show airs.
  • 1996 - The Walt Disney Company and McDonald's Corporation sign a 10-year multi-national promotional alliance, set to begin in January 1997.
  • 1997 - The Light Magic Streetacular parade debuts at Disneyland.
  • 1997 - The special TV show "Light Magic: A Spectacular Journey" airs.
  • 2005 - The May 23 issue of Business Week magazine shows the mom and baby superheros from the film The Incredibles in an article about renting DVDs from street kiosk machines.
  • 2006 - Disney releases the film High School Musical on DVD in the US.
  • 2009 - The My Little Princess store opens at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.
  • 2010 - The Fox Broadcasting Company airs The Simpsons TV show in the USA. The opening chalkboard scene reads "END OF "LOST": IT WAS ALL THE DOG'S DREAM. WATCH US.", referring to the Disney/ABC TV series finale.
