- 1945 - Disney delivers the film The Dawn of Better Living to Westinghouse Electric.
- 1953 - Disney's first "Adventures in Music" animated film, Melody, is released. The film was made in 3-D, the first such film to be released in the US.
- 1960 - The Western Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland attraction opens in Frontierland at Disneyland. The attraction cost US$1.8 million to build. It includes early technology leading to Audio-Animatronics, with 200 mechanical moving animals.
- 1960 - The Art of Animation display opens in Tomorrowland at Disneyland.
- 1961 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, featuring Disneyland '61 and Olympic Elk.

- 1993 - Groundbreaking begins for the Tower of Terror ride at the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park in Walt Disney World.
- 1993 - Disney releases the Hollywood Pictures live-action feature film Super Mario Bros. to theaters in the US. The film cost $48 million to make.
- 1999 - Buena Vista releases the Walt Disney Pictures live-action feature film My Favorite Martian to theaters in Great Britain.
- 2004 - Touchstone releases the live-action feature film Raising Helen to theaters in the USA.
- 2010 - Disney releases the feature film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time to theaters. The movie is based on the Prince of Persia series of computer/videogames, first released in 1987.
- 2012 - Disney Cruise Line's Disney Wonder begins its second season of 7-day round-trip cruises to Alaska, this year departing from Seattle, Washington.
- 2013 - The ABC TV network airs the final Body of Proof TV show.
