  • 1925 - Disney ships the Alice Comedy film Alice Stage Struck to M.J. Winkler Productions.
  • 1937 - The Mickey Mouse film Modern Inventions is released to theaters. Donald Duck stars, without Mickey Mouse.
  • 1941 - 300-700 Disney animators, members of the Screen Cartoonists Guild, stage a strike of the Disney Studios. More than 1000 picketers appear in the first hour.
  • 1944 - The film The Amazon Awakens is delivered to the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs.
  • 1957 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, entitled The Liberty Story, including the film Ben and Me, and portions of the film Johnny Tremain.
  • 1959 - The ABC TV network airs the Walt Disney Presents TV show, entitled I Captured the King of the Leprechauns, including portions of the film Darby O'Gill and the Little People.
  • 1980 - Saint Lucia issues ten postage stamps marking the International Year of the Child, and commemorating the 15th anniversary of the first moon walk, depicting various Disney characters in space.
  • 1984 - Reliance Group Holdings files a suit in federal court against Disney, claiming that the Arvida deal is "a waste of corporate assets".
  • 1984 - Saul Steinberg announces plans to hold a proxy fight, to arrange a stockholders' meeting to vote the current Disney management out of office.
  • 1986 - The Spaceship Earth attraction in EPCOT Center is updated with new narration by Walter Cronkite.
  • 1987 - The Briar Rose Cottage shop opens in Fantasyland in Disneyland. This spot was formerly Mickey's Christmas Chalet.
  • 1991 - Tokyo Disneyland welcomes its 100-millionth guest.
  • 1991 - Uganda issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters in Japan.
  • 1992 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Sister Act to theatres.
  • 2009 - Disney releases the Pixar animated feature film Up to theaters in the USA and Canada.
  • 2012 - The ABC TV network airs the last Cougar Town episode.
