  • 1924 - Disney ships the Alice Comedy film Alice and the Dog Catcher to M.J. Winkler Productions.
  • 1949 - The Donald Duck film Winter Storage is released. Chip 'n' Dale also appear.
  • 1960 - The Puffin Bakery shop in Disneyland closes.
  • 1964 - Buena Vista releases Disney's live-action feature film The Three Lives of Thomasina to theaters. The film is based on the book Thomasina by Paul Gallico.
  • 1980 - Donn Tatum retires as chairman and chief executive officer of Walt Disney Productions, becoming chairman of the executive committee.
  • 1980 - Card Walker is elected chairman of Walt Disney Productions.
  • 1980 - Card Walker names Ron Miller as president and chief operating officer of Walt Disney Productions.
  • 1980 - Walt Disney Productions announces the creation of new divisions: Walt Disney Motion Picture and Television Production Division, Walt Disney Outdoor Recreation Division, and Walt Disney Marketing Division.
  • 1984 - The Bistro de Paris restaurant opens in the France Pavillion in World Showcase in EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World.
  • 1989 - The Disney Channel airs the Disney Channel Premiere Film Looking for Miracles in the USA.
  • 1990 - The Fine Tobacco shop on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland closes.
  • 1994 - Buena Vista Pictures releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Renaissance Man to theaters.
  • 1996 - Disney premieres the film The Rock on Alcatraz Island.
  • 1996 - The Lifetime TV network premieres the Debt TV show.
  • 2001 - The Disney Channel commences the third season of the Bug Juice TV show.
  • 2001 - Disney premieres the film Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.
  • 2003 - At the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France, Disney premieres the film Destino.
  • 2007 - The Lifetime TV network premieres the ABC Studios TV show Army Wives.
