  • 1940 - The "Mickey Mouse" comic strip is published containing a small swastika in the last panel of the strip.
  • 1957 - Disney releases the animated short film The Story of Anyburg, U.S.A. to theaters.
  • 1957 - Buena Vista releases Disney's live-action feature film Johnny Tremain to theaters. The film is based on the novel by Esther Forbes. Walt Disney's daughter Sharon has a small part in the film.
  • 1957 - Disney releases the live-action short film The Wetback Hound to theaters.
  • 1958 - A fourth locomotive arrives at Disney's backlot, to be rebuilt and put into service at Disneyland. It was purchased in New Jersey for US$2000.
  • 1971 - Walt Disney World opens its own post office, with its own Zip Code: 32830.
  • 1985 - The Yumz food facility opens at the Videopolis in Fantasyland at Disneyland.
  • 1987 - The Disney Channel airs the Disney Channel Premiere Film Not Quite Human.
  • 1987 - Buena Vista generally releases the film Benji the Hunted to theaters.
  • 1990 - The Gambia issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters visiting England.
  • 1991 - The TV show Rocketeer: Excitement in the Air airs in syndication.
  • 1992 - The World According to Goofy parade debuts at Disneyland.
  • 1992 - The Phantasticks Wagon shop opens in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1996 - Disney premieres the animated feature film The Hunchback of Notre Dame in New Orleans, Lousiana.
  • 1998 - Disney releases the Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film Mulan to theaters in the USA.
  • 1998 - Disney's Mulan Parade premieres in the Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World.
  • 1998 - The Animation Academy class opens at DisneyQuest at Walt Disney World.
  • 1999 - The Tarzan Treehouse attraction opens at Disneyland. The attraction was formerly the Swiss Family Treehouse.
  • 2015 - The film ABCD2 is released in India and the USA.
