  • 1929 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film The Barnyard Battle.
  • 1941 - Walt Disney runs a full-page ad in Variety magazine outlining the settlement terms he had planned to present on June 30. Due to the Bioff indictment, the strikers called a halt to all further negotiations.
  • 1956 - The Rainbow Caverns Mine Train attraction begins operation in Frontierland at Disneyland. The attraction cost US$400,000 to build.
  • 1967 - Tomorrowland at Disneyland re-opens following a complete re-design and rebuilding.
  • 1967 - The Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant opens in Disneyland.
  • 1967 - The Carousel of Progress attraction opens at Disneyland.
  • 1967 - The PeopleMover attraction begins operation in Tomorrowland at Disneyland.
  • 1967 - The Rocket Jets ride opens in Tomorrowland at Disneyland. Former name was Tomorrowland Jets.
  • 1981 - Disney releases the live-action feature film Condorman to theaters in the UK.
  • 1984 - Disney renegotiates the Gibson Greetings deal slightly, as a two-for-one stock swap plus an additional US$30 million in cash for Gibson Greetings.
  • 1986 - Disney releases the Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film The Great Mouse Detective to theaters in the US. It is based on the book Basil of Baker Street by Eve Titus. The film's score was written by Henry Mancini. The film cost US$14 million to make.
  • 1993 - Disney re-releases the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to theaters. The film had been painstakingly restored and flaws fixed by Eastman Kodak's Cinesite division over 18 weeks.
  • 1993 - Disney releases the Hollywood Pictures live-action feature film Son-in-Law to theaters in the US.
  • 1999 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Summer of Sam to theaters in the USA.
  • 2004 - The film America's Heart & Soul is released to theaters.
  • 2005 - (to July 5) At the Hollywood Bowl in California, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra performs "The Happiest Music on Earth", including songs from Disney theme park attractions.
  • 2007 - Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House open in the Animal Kingdom Lodge at Walt Disney World, part of the Disney Vacation Club.
  • 2010 - The film Captain EO re-opens at Epcot at Walt Disney World.
