  • 1976 - Buena Vista Distribution releases the Walt Disney Productions live-action feature film Gus is to theaters in the US. The film is based on the book by Ted Key.
  • 1984 - The Promenade Gifts shop opens in Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1984 - Restaurant Hokusai opens in World Bazaar at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1989 - Antigua & Barbuda issues ten postage stamps depicting Disney characters and French landmarks.
  • 1989 - Grenada Grenadines issues ten postage stamps depicting various Disney characters in Paris, France.
  • 1989 - The Grenadines of St. Vincent: Bequia issues eight postage stamps depicting Disney characters in French Revolution roles.

  • 2004 - Touchstone releases the live-action feature film King Arthur to theaters in the USA.
