  • 1927 - Film Booking Offices releases the Alice Comedy film Alice's Medicine Show to theaters.
  • 1927 - Story work begins on the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film The Ocean Hop.
  • 1930 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film The Shindig.
  • 1941 - RKO Radio Pictures releases the Donald Duck film Early to Bed to theaters.
  • 1947 - Disney releases the Donald Duck film Donald's Dilemma to theaters. Daisy Duck also appears.
  • 1953 - The Goofy film How to Dance is released.
  • 1974 - The syndicated television special Herbie Day at Disneyland airs.
  • 1986 - The Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour opens in Cinderella Castle in Fantasyland at Tokyo Disneyland.
  • 1986 - In France, the Paris regional council approves plans for a Disneyland style amusement park in Marne-la-Vallée.
  • 1987 - The Disney Gallery opens in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. The Art of Disneyland 1953-1986 is the first exhibition.
  • 1991 - Disney announces a deal with Pixar for John Lasseter to write and direct a full-length computer animated film for Disney to distribute.
  • 1995 - The NBC TV network airs the last episode of the Disney series Pride & Joy.
  • 1998 - In Platteville, Wisconsin, Mickey's Hometown Parade is performed. A resident of the city was the grand-prize winner in an essay contest.
  • 2001 - Comedy Central airs the South Park TV show in the USA. A character dies laughing, and it's emerging angel continues laughing, similar to the way the weasels die in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.
  • 2002 - Buena Vista International releases the film Beauty and the Beast to theaters in Argentina.
  • 2020 - The Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World re-open.
