  • 1927 - The Roxy Theatre in New York City premieres the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film Trolley Troubles.
  • 1927 - Animation work begins on the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film The Ocean Hop.
  • 1941 - US President Franklin Roosevelt sends federal labor conciliator Stanley White to Hollywood, to try to work out a settlement of the Disney workers' strike.
  • 1955 - Disney releases the animated short film The Flying Gauchito to theaters. It was originally released as part of the film The Three Caballeros.
  • 1988 - Disney re-releases the film Bambi to theaters.
  • 1989 - The Disney Channel ends airing the series Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers.
  • 1990 - The syndicated TV special show Thrills, Chills & Spiders: The Making of Arachnophobia airs.
  • 1991 - The Briar Rose Cottage shop in Fantasyland in Disneyland closes.
  • 1994 - Buena Vista Pictures releases the Walt Disney Pictures / Caravan Pictures live-action feature film Angels in the Outfield to theaters in the USA.
  • 1995 - The Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion opens at Walt Disney World, on an island near the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
  • 1995 - Michael Eisner meets with Warren Buffet (largest shareholder of Capital Cities) and Tom Murphy (chairman of Capital Cities/ABC), about Disney buying the company. The conclusion is that if the price is right, a deal can be made.
  • 1997 - Touchstone Home Video releases the film Metro on videocassette.
  • 1998 - The Disney Magic cruise ship arrives at Port Canaveral, Florida for the first time.
  • 2005 - At Disneyland, Space Mountain re-opens following a rehabilitation. The opening is attended by former astronaut Neil Armstrong.
  • 2005 - Bosnia & Herzegovina issue two postage stamps marking the 50th anniversary of Disneyland.
  • 2005 - The Turtle Talk with Crush attraction opens in Disney's California Adventure.
  • 2005 - Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, announces plans for a Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage attraction at Disneyland Park.
  • 2010 - Comedy Central airs the Futurama TV show in the USA. A game show is played called "Who Dares to Be a Millionaire?", mocking the Disney TV show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.
  • 2011 - The short cartoon The Ballad of Nessie is released in theaters.
  • 2020 - Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World re-opens.
