  • 1925 - Live-action filming is complete for the Alice Comedy film Alice the Jail Bird.
  • 1932 - The Silly Symphony film Just Dogs is released to theaters. Pluto also appears. This is the last black and white Silly Symphony film.
  • 1932 - Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood premieres the Silly Symphony film Flowers and Trees. This is the first full color cartoon. Originally, the film was created in black and white, but was scrapped and remade in color. The film preceeds the MGM feature film Strange Interlude.
  • 1942 - Disney delivers the film Out of the Frying Pan into the Firing Line to the Conservation Division of the War Production Board. Minnie Mouse appears in the film.
  • 1943 - The Goofy film Victory Vehicles is released. Pluto also appears.
  • 1948 - The Donald Duck film The Trial of Donald Duck is released.
  • 1955 - The Tomorrowland Boats attraction opens in Disneyland, between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
  • 1956 - The Mineral Hall shop opens in Frontierland at Disneyland.
  • 1982 - Buena Vista makes an initial release of the live-action feature film Tex to theaters in the US. The film is based on the novel by S.E. Hinton. Matt Dillon has his first starring role in the film. Emilio Estevez and Meg Tilly make their first film appearances.
  • 1984 - Irwin Jacobs files a lawsuit against Disney, in an attempt to block the Gibson Greetings deal.
  • 1986 - Disney releases the Walt Disney Pictures live-action feature film Flight of the Navigator to theaters in the US.
  • 1990 - The ABC TV network airs the pilot TV show The Knife & Gun Club.
  • 1993 - The Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril attraction opens in Adventureland at Euro Disneyland. This is the first loop-the-loop attraction in a Disney theme park.
  • 1995 - The Disney board of directors approves the Capital Cities / ABC takeover deal.
  • 1998 - The Disney Cruise Line launches its first cruise ship, the Disney Magic.
  • 1999 - Disney releases the Paramount Pictures / Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Runaway Bride to theaters in the USA.
  • 2010 - The last Aaron Stone TV show airs on Disney XD.
