  • 1928 - Disney completes the second Mickey Mouse film, Gallopin' Gaucho.
  • 1931 - Disney completes the Mickey Mouse film Blue Rhythm. Minnie Mouse also appears.
  • 1946 - Disney delivers the commercial film A Feather in his Collar to the Community Chests of America.
  • 1964 - The Astro-Jets ride at Disneyland is renamed Tomorrowland Jets.
  • 1974 - Buena Vista releases the live-action feature film The Castaway Cowboy to theaters.
  • 1981 - Buena Vista releases the film Condorman to theaters in the US.
  • 1989 - Disney releases the film Ships for educational use. The film is part of the "Goofy's Field Trips" series.
  • 1991 - Antigua & Barbuda issues ten postage stamps depicting Disney characters playing golf.
  • 1992 - Disney releases the Bonkers animated short film Petal to the Metal to theaters.
  • 1992 - Disney releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film 3 Ninjas to theatres.
  • 1994 - Jeffrey Katzenberg tells Michael Eisner he plans to leave Disney.
  • 1996 - Grenada issues ten postage stamps depicting scenes from Disney's film Hercules.
  • 1996 - Grenada issues eighteen postage stamps depicting scenes of Minnie Mouse in Hawaiian Holiday. Seventeen sequential stamps form a flip-book animation, showing Minnie hula dancing.
  • 1997 - Grenada Grenadines issues seven postage stamps depicting Winnie the Pooh characters.
  • 1997 - Grenada Grenadines issues ten postage stamps depicting scenes from Disney classic animated feature films.
  • 1998 - Buena Vista releases the Touchstone Pictures live-action feature film Armageddon to theaters in Great Britain.
  • 2006 - The August 7 issue of Business Week magazine presents a list of The 100 Top Brands in the world. Number 8 on the list is Disney.
  • 2008 - The US Postal Service issues the Art of Disney: Imagination postage stamps, four 42-cent stamps themed by films Steamboat Mickey, 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella, The Jungle Book.
