  • 1927 - Disney ships the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film The Banker's Daughter to Winkler Productions.
  • 1928 - Universal Pictures releases the 26th Oswald the Lucky Rabbit film, Hot Dog, to theaters. This is the last Oswald film that the Walt Disney Studio contributed to.
  • 1932 - The Mickey Mouse film Trader Mickey is released to theaters. Pluto also appears.
  • 1981 - Walt Disney Productions raises US$100 million with the issue of a 5-year Eurobond, the first public debt for the company.
  • 1990 - The NBC TV network airs a preview of the series Hull High.
  • 1996 - Touchstone Home Video releases the film Mr. Wrong on videocassette.
  • 2004 - (to August 21) The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra plays music from Disney films. The Great American Concert with Fireworks - Walt Disney: 75 Years of Music.
  • 2015 - The ABC TV network airs the last The Astronaut Wives TV show.
