- 1937 - Camera work begins on the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
- 1953 - Walt Disney discusses his plans for Disneyland with Herb Ryman, convincing him to help draw a visual image of the park. Over 42 hours, the two create a 43x70 inch detailed aerial view.
- 1956 - The ABC TV network airs the Disneyland TV show, entitled Searching for Nature's Mysteries.
- 1962 - Buena Vista releases Disney's live-action film Almost Angels to theaters. It is released in the United Kingdom as Born to Sing.
