  • 1991 - Michael Jackson signs US$65 million six-album deal with Sony Records.
  • 1994 - Cyrano: The Musical closes at Neil Simon theater in New York City after 137 performances.
  • 1995 - Beatles song, "Free As A Bird", with late John Lennon as lead singer, is released, first single of The Beatles since their 1970 breakup.
