8-pence stamp depicts yachts blown by the wind in opposite directions.

Ghana

1-pence, 2-pence, 1-shilling 3-pence, and 5-shilling stamps incorrectly spell the full name of the ITU with an "s" in "communications".

Germany (Democratic Republic)

60-pfennig stamp depicts Yevgeny Khaldei's photo of Russian soldiers raising the Soviet Union flag on the German Reichstag, but the image is reversed left-right.

Germany (Federal Republic)

15-pfennig stamp depicts a yellow bus that must have been printed facing the wrong direction, as Germany drove on the right-hand side in 1965, so this bus would have let passengers out in the middle of the road.

70-pfennig stamp depicts flags and sails of ship blown in opposite directions.

10-, 20-, 40-centime, and 3-franc stamps of French administration are inscribed with "RF" on left and "EIIR" on right against protocol; the 40c stamp was corrected with a 6-centime value in 1967, the others in 1968. Also, the bird on the 3-franc stamp should be labelled "Megalurulus whitneyi".

50-centavo through 10-sucre stamps depict Juan Leon Mera with misspelled caption "MERAN".

2 1/2-, 12 1/2-, and 15-piaster stamps publicize the Peasants' Union, but there are two "R" letters in "RERUBLIC".

100-franc airmail stamp depicts Pope John XXIII with tiara worn rotated 90 degrees (we should see the side of the cross), and possibly the wrong tiara and clothes.

1-shilling 3-pence stamp depicts Alexander Nasmyth's portrait of Robert Burns, but the image is flipped left-right.

40-lira stamp depicts an 8-sided snowflake, when all snow crystals have six sides.

Six postage stamps promoting the chess championships in Cuba include the Olympic rings, though chess has nothing to do with the Olympic Games, and the dates given of the championships are September to October, when the actual games took place between October 25 and November 20.

150-lira stamp depicts church of Bright Mountain, Czestochowa, but errs in placing the cedilla under the "z" rather than the "e".
